Hippocampus wall hung sculpture- Tish Campbell Exhibition

I’ve always admired engravings in old-fashioned storybooks, especially the creatures on the maps you sometimes find in fantasy novels. I love carving flowing tails and manes and sculpting like this gives me the freedom to try and make them seem to dance across a wall.

Earthenware wall hung sculpture of a hippocampus, finished with underglazes and earthenware glaze. Picture wire fixing at the back, ready to hang. For indoor display only as it is not frost proof.
