Grace, the baby pygmy hippo

Grace is a baby Pygmy hippopotamus, who dreams of being a ballerina when she grows up. She’s delicate underwater, tickling the lake bed on tiptoe. Weightless and elegant she floats and thinks of a lead role in Gisele at the Royal Opera in Covent Garden.

Made of earthenware clay, underglazes and a tiny touch of glaze.
