Crystal

Crystal is a stoneware ceramic sculpture inspired by the wonders of the world and walking around natural history museums, opening drawers of precious minerals and remnants from all corners of the earth. I thought of Victorian collectors and how vast and wondrous the new places they explored must have been, and how whales are still miracles in the modern age.

Made of stoneware clay, underglazes and layered glazes.
